Responsibilities:
- Assist in various tasks related to elite purebred Red Angus cattle care, including feeding, health assessments, breeding program support, and herd management.
- Manage rotational grazing, pasture maintenance, and contribute to the implementation of breeding and calving programs for the Red Angus herd.
- Perform ranch maintenance tasks, including grounds/facility upkeep, equipment operation, and fencing to maintain superior standards.
- Support wheat, barley, and garbanzo bean production tasks such as planting, harvesting, irrigation, fertilization, and field maintenance.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment specific to crop cultivation and cattle management, ensuring functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with the team to execute tasks efficiently and meet operational goals across both ranching and farming activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in ranching and farming or related agricultural work is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cattle handling, pasture management, and crop production (wheat, barley, and garbanzo beans) is beneficial.
- Ability to operate and maintain ranch and farm machinery and equipment.
- Physical fitness and adaptability to perform diverse tasks involving outdoor work and lifting 50+ lbs regularly in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive attitude towards learning and contributing to ranch and farm operations.
- Ability and willingness to embrace new technologies to help advance the operations.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions accurately.
- A personal vehicle is required due to the nature of our remote location.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
- 6-Month paid trial hire period, additional incentives and time off available after the first 6 month period successfully completed.
- Hours: Typically Monday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Weekends as needed; Hours vary depending on seasonal needs (40 Hr/Wk Min.)
- Availability to work holidays and night hours when needed.
- Must be an U.S. Citizen.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have the ability to write, read, and speak English fluently.

- Education or certification in agriculture, farming, livestock management, or related fields.
